Why is the UK better than anywhere else?

Here are some recent comments from an expat returning to the UK….from the USA

1) people in the UK are much more friendly, genuine and kind hearted.
2) much more secure and stable life compared to the US, i.e NHS, Safety net, which I didn’t appreciate prior to leaving the UK but after living in the US missed having that secure feeling.
3) Weather pleasant and NOT hot and humid. Can actually go for a nice walk without sweating and needing a shower 4 times a day in the summer time.
4) So much choice with food and clothes.
5) Felt alive because of the small talk, lot of people buzzing around and not a feeling of isolation.
6) great to walk around the towns and be able to walk to the shops instead of driving.
7) driving was a pleasure with educated drivers.
8) great to stop off at a country pub and have a swift shandy.
9) loads of great places to walk and kids loved visiting the farm parks.
10) great long evenings not going dark till 9.30pm.
11) nice to watch UK tv.
12) nice to hear UK accents all around.
